About Me

My name is Joey! I've been a drama fan since I was 13 (I'm currently 18) and decided I liked dramas so much, I'm gonna write about 'em! I'm kind of a horrible blogger (and I'm not very computer savvy), but I'll try my best. *fist pump*

I have social phobia* and am agoraphobic**. I'm constantly berating myself for even having an opinion, let alone sharing it with the world, so please bear with the serious lack of posts some times and random hiatuses. If your not very confident with yourself, it's kind of hard to be confident in sharing an opinion on anything, let alone something that's so important to me as dramas, manga, anime and other entertainment hailing from Asia.

I'm currently a public high school drop-out but am hoping to graduate with a diploma anyway via online schooling. The school I'm interested in has courses in writing, web design, and has a movie club! Hopefully, when I start taking those classes, this blog's design and functionality will improve (because it kind of sucks right now).

My dream career is to be an actor and writer (possibly director, too?) for film and television all over the world -- Asia especially. (Can you see my drama bias?) Though, I've recently looked into the world of publishing, and it actually sounds pretty fun (not to mention, editing seems right up my alley!).

---------------------------------------------------

I run another blog about masculine fashion for tomboys, gender non-conformists, and biological males alike. I'm also the Saturday Vlogger for an Asexual Visibility collaboration channel on YouTube called Ace Ideas. I don't vlog as myself, though. I'm the person behind the puppet-ed tiger stuffed-animal toy. I haven't uploaded a video there in ages, though, as real life has been in the way.

I hope you enjoy reading my reviews, episode commentary, character breakdowns and other ramblings on Asia's entertainment.

* Social Phobia - people who often carry a deep fear of being evaluated negatively in social situations
** Agoraphobia - an irrational fear of crowded and/or public places resulting in not leaving a safe place. I rarely leave my house unless it's to go grocery shopping with my mom.
